Then to Adriatic (Dalmatian) Coast to follow the route of Roman Empire and Napoleon's general Montmartre.
Visit the city of Split (Spalato) where Emperor Diocletian was born and where he built his amazing palace and then to town of Stone, site of the Great Wall of Europe to reach Dubrovnik, the most beautiful walled medieval town in the world. Great tour for early Spring.
Day-1. DEPARTURE CITY - Vienna : Overnight flight to Vienna
Day-2. VIENNA: Welcome to the former capital of Habsburg Monarchy and worlds capital of classic music. Transfer to the city and enjoy the panoramic tour along the Ring, to see the main sites of this great city such as: the Hofburg, Town Hall, Votava Church, Museum Quarter, Urania, Danube Canal, Stadt Park, and Opera. Then to your centrally located hotel, next to pedestrian zone. In the evening join your tour director on walking tour inside the Ring to see the main sites: Spanish Riding School, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Graben, Fleisch Markt and Koerntner Strasse, the shopping artery of the city.
Day-3. VIENNA: Visit Schoenbrunn, the most beautiful of all royal palaces in Europe with its huge parks, fountains and gardens. The castle is also known as the place where a young Mozart gave his first music concert at the age of six. During the guided tour see over 70 rooms and learn about the history of one of the most famous empires in Europe. Free afternoon for individual activities. How about to visit Prater, the oldest amusement park in the Europe, or walk along Danube River or find Bachus the best pancake shop in Europe or just relax along Maria Hilfe Strasse.
Day-4. VIENNA - ZAGREB: Morning transfer to Zagreb. Upon arrival check in at your hotel located on the main square, and after short break join your tour director on walking tour of this old city. See the Jelacic Square, the centre of public life, walk along Zrinjevac park and up to the old train station known from the Agatha Christie movie Murder in Orient Express.
Day-5. ZAGREB: Guided tour of the city.Visit/See: Jelacic Square, Church of St. Mark with unique roof tiles, St. Stephen Cathedral, Dolac Market, the “belly of Zagreb”, National Theatre, Bloody Bridge, Upper Town, Lotrscak Tower, and Mirogoj. Later join your tour director on walking tour along Ilica, the main artery of the city.
Day-6. ZAGREB-PLITVICE LAKES-SPLIT: Travel through Croatian countryside to reach Plitvice, known as UNESCO heritage site and one of the seven nature wonders of the world. Walking tour along the area which consist of 17 cascade lakes formed through over 1000 years, known by its turquoise water. During the lunch break do not forget to try roasted lamb, the main dish of the region. Then to Split and your sea side hotel for dinner and overnight. In the evening, walking tour along the bay.
Day-7. SPLIT - STON - DUBROVNIK: Ride along the Dalmatian Coast passing over 20 islands and small towns Stop in the town of Ston, to see "the Great Wall of Europe" once the main protection of the Republic of Ragusa from northern invasion. Also see tha largest musels plantation in Europe, before we end our day in Dubrovnik, and your seaside hotel with swimming pool. Transfer to your hotel, and join your tour director on walking tour of the most beautiful fortified town in Southern Europe declared as a UNESCO heritage site.
Day-8. DUBROVNIK: Guided tour of this old town, declared as UNESCO heritage city, which changed the hands of its many rulers from Byzantium and Venetian to Napoleon, Turks and Italians. See: the Museum of Dubrovnik, Stradun (the main artery of the city), Minceta Tower, the Old Port, Gruz Port, the Botanical Gardens and the fish and veggie market. During your free afternoon we suggest to you to take a unique walking tour along ramparts massive walls (high over 20 metres) and watch towers which surround this great city. Or just enjoy your leisure time for sun tanning on the beaches or at the swimming pool.
Day-9. MONTENEGRO EXCURSION: Motor coach ride along the Dalmatian coast , cross the border of Montenegro and travel along one of the best scenic roads in Europe to reach Kotor, the old naval port established in medieval time. Explore the walled town with wach towers and ramparts and crystal blue water. Late return to Dubrovnik for open buffet farewell dinner
