Day-1. TORONTO TO BUESNOS AIRES: Air Canada direct flight to Buenos Aires

Day-2: BUENOS AIRES: Arrival early afternoon local time and private Motor coach transfer to the city. rrival we’ll transfer to our hotel for dinner and overnight for the next four nights. (D)

Day-3: BUENOS AIRES: Highlights of today's tour include the Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace), Cabildo (Town Hall), and Congress Palace. Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and see the Colon Opera House, Recoleta Cemetery (burial site of Eva Peron), Avenida de Mayo, and San Telmo’s high quality antique shops and flea markets. We finish today's tour in La Boca, a quaint Italianharbour district. Afternoon at leisure. This evening we will be taken to a delicious dinner and Tango Show. (B/D)

Day-4: COLONIA, URUGUAY: Today’s full day tour begins with a one hour hydrafoil ride across the Rio de la Plata River to Colonia del Sacramento, a UNESCO World Heritage site, in Uruguay. This city, founded in 1680, evokes old Lisbon with its Portuguese-influenced architecture and winding cobble-stoned streets. Its major sights include Iglesia Matriz, the country’s oldest church, the Municipal Museum, the Lighthouse, and a 17th century port jutting into the river where we’ll have a BBQ steak lunch. (B/L)

Day-5: BUENOS AIRES: Enjoy a full day Gaucho Fiesta excursion to the pampas (grasslands) which includes a BBQ lunch at an authentic Argentinian ranch (estancia) as well as traditional songs and dance. Return to Buenos Aires in mid-afternoon for some free time. (B/L)

Day0-6: BUENOS AIRES – EL CALAFATE: Morning flight to the Argentinian part of Patagonia. Arrive in El Calafate in the afternoon and transfer to our hotel. (B/D)

DAay-7: EL CALAFATE: After an early breakfast we will leave for a full excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier situated in Los Glaciers National Park. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1981 and is home to one of the most awe inspiring landscapes of Argentina. Not only will we have the chance to enjoy stunning views of the glacier from the nearby walking trail and viewing platforms but we will also take a boat cruise that takes us close enough to fully appreciate the 80m high ice walls of the glacier! Day-8: EL CALAFATE-USUAIA: Today’s excursion begin with a coach ride to the port of Punta Bandera in Los Glaciers National Park from which we will embark on a three hour cruise. We sail among icebergs and stunning scenery overlooking the western front of the Upsala Glacier and disembark at the Estancia after passing through the Cristina Canal. We will visit the Costumbrista Museum and then ascend in all-terrain vehicles through mountainous roads to the Continental ice shelter. Next we’ll visit the oriental front of the Upsala Glacier, Lake Guillermo, Southern Patagonian ice and the Andes. Afternoon just over an hours flight to Ushuaia the Southernmost city in the world for dinner and overnight. (B/D)

Day-9: USHUAIA-CRUISE: Guided walking tour of this enchanting city founded in 1884, one of the original points of encounter between the Yamana and Anglican cultures. Its name derives from the Yamana word for “penetrating bay” and it is surrounded by the last high peaks of the Andes. Today it is one of the largest cities on Tierra del Fuego Island with approximately 65,000 inhabitants. At 5:30 PM we will board the Mare Australis cruise ship for the five day, four nights experience of our lives! After a welcoming cocktail reception hosted by the captain we depart for one of the remotest parts of the planet as we head for the Beagle Channel and the Strait of Magellan to explore one of the most breathtaking wilderness regions of the world, viz. Southern Patagonia. Day-10: CRUISE: CAPE HORN - WULAIA BAY: In the morning we will cross Nassau Bay and enter the remote archipelago that compromises Cape Horn national Park.We shall go ashore (weather and sea conditions permitting) on the windswept island that harbours legendary cape Horn (Cabo de Hornos). It was discovered in 1616 by a Dutch maritime expedition and named after the town of Hoorn. Walking tour along the 425 metres rocky Island overlooking the turbulent waters of the Drake Passage, for many years the only navigation route between the pacific and Atlantic also known as the Maritime graveyar ( and place where over 10.000 sailors lost their life. Take a group photo at the Cape Horn Monument and then we sail to Wulaiai Bay, the site of the largest Yamana aboriginal setlement. . You will visit the museum and then choice of three different hikes before dinner and overnight on the ship. (B/L/D)

Day-11. CRUISE: PIA GLACIER - GARIBALDI GLACIER: Enter Garibaldi Fjord where we will disembark for a hike through the forest up to a glacial waterfall to enjoy the spectacularviews. For those who choose to stay on board our captain will point the bow towards the beautiful blue Garibaldi Glacier in order for you to enjoy the panoramic view from the upper decks. In the afternoon we will navigate along the northwest arm of the Beagle Channel to reach Pia Fjord. From here, we’ll take a short hike to a panoramic viewpoint from where we can enjoy spectacular views of the awe-inspiring Pia Glacier whose main tongue extends from the mountaintops down to the sea. After this memorable experience, we will continue our voyage along the Beagle Channel through the majestic Glacier Alley. (B/L/D)

Day-12: CRUISE: AGOSTINI SOUND-AGUILA GLACIER-CONDOR GLACIER: During the morning we will be sailing through Murray Channel and Nassau Bay to reach Cape Horn National Park, where, weather permitting, we shall go ashore. The legendary Cape Horn was discovered in 1616 and is a sheer 425-meter (1,394-foot) high rocky promontory. For many years it was an important navigation route between the Pacific and the Atlantic, and is referred to as the ‘End of the Earth’. The park was declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2005. In the afternoon we will go ashore at historical Wulaia Bay, originally the site of one of the region’s largest Yamana aboriginal settlements. Charles Darwin landed there in 1833 during his voyage on the HMS Beagle. This area is also renowned for the mesmerizing beauty of its vegetation and geography. We will take an enchanted walk through the Magellan Forest of lengas, coigües, canelos, ferns, and other endemic vegetation, to reach a panoramic viewpoint. (B/L/D)

Day-13, CRUISE END-PUNTA ARENAS: Disembark from the cruise ship and transfer to the hotel. After check in and refreshment, join your local guide on walking tour through the city to see: Magelan Monument, Los Pinguinos Monument and Plaza Armas. Relax afternoon. (B/D).

Day-14. PUNTA ARENAS-SANTIAGO-CANADA: After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your 3 hours flight to Santiago, the capital of Chile. Re-check your luggage, and then board the Motor coach for panoramic tour of the capital to see some of the sites like: Cerro San Cristobal (excellent view over the city), Plaza de Armas, and Costanera Centro (great place for late shoping). Then some free time at Mercado Central for some great Chilean dishes. Then transfer to the airport for your late evening flight to Toronto.
