Day-1, CANADA - EUROPE: Domestic and Trans Atlantic flight to Europe

Day 2.  VENICE-PADUA:  Arrival and transfer to your hotel in Padua. After check in and refreshment, join your tour director on walking tour through the oldest universitycity in Italy. Visit Basilica San Antonio named after the Saint Antony follower of Canons of Saint Augustin and one of the closest friends of Saint Francis of Assisi. Holy Mass in Basilica B/D.

Day-3. VENICE: Short ride (35 minutes) to Venice. Then walking tour of this great city built on Islands (no cars in Venice). Visit Basilica San Marco and Ponte Rialto. Free afternoon for some fun or to rent a gondola for ride on Canals. B/D

Day-3. VENICE - ASSISI: Travel along the Adriatic Coast. Stop in seaside town of Rimini, once the Roman port for lunch. Then enter the Province of Umbria to reach Santa Maria dei Angeli, . Visit Basilica of St. Mary which St. Francis built in response of Our Lady’s request. Then uphill ride to hilltop city of Assisi, birth place of St. Francis and your hotel. Evening walking tour. B/D

Day-4. ASSISI: Explore home town  of St. Francis, the founder of Franciscan Order, and the first person to receive the stigmata, the wounds of Christ in 1244. Join the local guide to see the main sites, and then enter Basilica of St. Francis that houses his tomb in the Lower Basilica It will be a Mass at the tomb of St. Francis. Later explore Upper Basilica, and then have some free time B/D

Day-5. ASSISI-LANCIANO-SAN GIOVANI ROTONDO: Early morning ride to Lanciano. Arrival around noon and visit Madona del Ponte Cathedral and the Sanctuary of Eucharistic Miracle, which took place in 8th century. Later celebrate a  Holy Mass, led by your Spiritual leader. Late afternoon, continue along the Adriatic Coast to San Giovani Rotondo B/D

Day-6. SAN GIOVANI ROTONDO: Transfer to New Cathedral. Mass at the tomb of St. Pio. After Mass, your group will have the opportunity to tour the sanctuary, and view the crucifix, in front of which St. Pio received the stigmata. Also, visit the confessional from where St. Pio spent many hours. Then visit the Old Cathedral, before some free time in the afternoon. B/D.

Day-7. SAN GIOVANI ROTONDO-ROME:  Departure to Rome. Upon arrival, visit Basilica of Saint Paul outside the Walls burial place of St. Paul, Church of St. John Lateran, where Pope Francis was installed as Bishop of Romeand Santa Croce in Jerusalem, one of seven pilgrimage churches of Rome. Then yo your four star hotel next to Vatican.    B/D

Day-8. VATICAN: Transfer to Vatican and attend Pope’s Audience (based on his schedule). After the audience, some free time in Vatican before Holy Mass at St. Peters Basilica. Free afternoon, or opt. visit to Vatican Museum to visit Sistine Chapel, site of enclave for election of the Pope. B.

Day-9. ANCIENT ROME: Metro ride to Colosseum to see the symbol of Rome build in AD 82. by Emperor Vespasian. Then walk along Avenue of Emperors to see Roman Fourm and Victor Emanuel Monument. Then to Trevi Fountain where you can taste the best gelato in Italy. Evening Mariden farewell dinner in hotel. B/D

Day-10. DEPARTURE: Same day arrival Canada.
