And then explore the sites of Mycenaean kings, Periclo's Athens, Corinth, the city of St. Paul, Acropolis, Parthenon and then enjoy your 5 days Mediterranean cruise visiting Mykonos, Kusadasi, Ephesus, Patmos, Rhodes, Crete and Santorini.

Day-1. DEPARTURE CITY-ROME: Overnight flight to Italy. 

Day-2. ROME: Arrive in Rome and transfer to your hotel in walking distance to Colosseum Then start with tour of Ancient Rome. See/visit the Colosseum, Constantine's Arch, Forum Romanum, Foro Traiano, Capitoline Hill and Victor Emanuel Monument. Later join your Tour Director on a walking tour to Spanish Steps and end the day visiting Trevi Fountain, one of the symbols of Rome where you can taste the best gelato in Italy.

Day-3. ROME: Board the metro for ride to Sate of Vatican. Then start with guided tour of Vatican Museum, See numerous rooms including the Rafael Lodge and Candelabra Gallery. Then visit the Sistine Chapel, with ceilings by Michelangelo, the Vatican Gardens and St. Peter's Basilica, with Michelangelo's "La Pieta". In the afternoon view Castel San Angelo, Piazza Navona, and Pantheon. 

Day-4. ROME-ATHENS: Transfer to the airport for your short flight to Athens. Upon arrival, transfer to your centrally located hotel and then join your tour director on walking tour to see the Library, the Academia, the University, Cathedral of St. Denis and tombs under Syntagma Square. 

Day-5. ATHENS-CRUISE-MYKONOS: Transfer to Pireus and board your cruise ship. Your vessel features a swimming pool, 3 restaurants, discotheque, duty free shop, sauna, daily show programs, sun deck, and much more. First visit Mykonos, a magical island with famous windmills, white houses, busy taverns and a magnet for artisans and jet setters. Then continue to sail for Asia Minor. 

Day-6. CRUISE: KUSADASI-PATMOS: Arrival Kusadasi. Explore the town or take the optional excursion to Ephesus, to visit one of the Seven Wonders of Ancient World, the famous Temple of Artemis as well as the Library of Celsius Roman Theatre, the Temple of Hadrian, the Temple of Domitian and the Aqueduct. Then sail to Patmos, known by the Monastery and the Cave of St. John the Divine. where he was exiled to by the Roman Emperor Domitian ***if the group does not like to visit Kusadasi, you can opt to viit Greek Island Samos instead.

Day-7. CRUISE: RHODES: A full day in Rhodes, an amazing city inhabited already in 19th century BC. The city is also known as the site of one of the Seven Wonders of Ancient World, the famous Colossi of Rhodes. In the middle ages Rhodes was one of the main strongholds of the Crusaders. The powerful walls which surround the old city are fine examples of engineering art from the 11th to 13th centuries. See the Palace of the Grand Master, St. Paul's Gate, Jewish Quarter and the Old Town. Then sail to Crete. 

Day-8. CRUISE: SANTORINI-CRETE: Arrival Crete, and join your tour director on walking tour of Heraklion or take the optional excursion to Knossos to visit the remain of Palace of King Minos. In the afternoon continue to Santorini, thought by some to be the lost continent of Atlantis. Challenge the climb to the top of the village or take a cable car or donkey ride to the village of Thira. Enjoy the spectacular sunset before return to the ship and a night ride back to Pireus. 

Day-9. CRUISE END-ATHENS: Morning arrival Pireus and disembark from the ship. Transfer to Athens for guided tour. See /visit the Acropolis Site with: Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheum, Continue on to Constitution Square, the heartbeat of the city. Seize a a photo-op at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and then, enjoy free afternoon at Plaka and Monastiraki market.
