This tour follow the path of Roman Empire from their Forum to the conquer and development of Barcelona.
Visit Rome, Florence the capital of world's renaissance, Sienna the most beautiful medieval town in Italy, and then
just a short 1,50 min. flight to Barcelona to explore the Catalan capital.
From Roman area to Bari Gothic. Pay the tribute to Gaudi's masterpieces Sagrada Familia, Park Guel and Casa Mila,
have some fun at La Boqueria, the best open air food market in Europe and then enjoy Mariden farewell tapas dinner
at Tablao de Carmen, the best Flamenco show in Spain.

Day-1. DEPARTURE: Flight from your city and transatlantic flight to Europe.

Day-2. ROME: Arrival Rome and transfer to your hotel next to Roman Forum. After short break join your tour director on walking tour to Piazza Spagna, the main meeting point for the young travellers in Rome and end the day at Trevi Fountain one of the symbols of Rome where you can taste the best gelato in Italy.

Day-3. ROME: Walk to Colosseum and start with guided tour of the main sites of Ancient Rome such as: Colosseum (inside visit), Arch of Constantine, Roman Forum (inside visit), Capitoline Hill, Victor Emanuel Monument and Piazza Venezia. In the afternoon continue to Pantheon, Pincio Hill and along Via Corso.

Day-4. VATICAN-FLORENCE: Metro ride to Vatican, and start the guided tour of Vatican Museum, Raphael’s Lodge, Sistine Chapel, with ceilings by Michelangelo and St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest catholic church in the world with Michelangelo’s famous statue, “La Pieta”. In the afternoon board speedy Euro Star train for a short ride to Florence. Upon arrival walk your four star hotel with swimming pool, and then join your guide on walking tour along Arno River.

Day-5. FLORENCE: Walk to Piazza de la Signoria, and start with guided tour of the world’s capital of Renaissance. See: Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistry, Neptune Fountain the Cathedral with Brunelleschi cupola, Church of Santa Croce , the Town Hall, and St. Lorenzo, the principal church of Medici Family, the founders of Florence. Later visit Academia, one of the most famous art houses established by Medici Family with display of paintings from Italian painters and home of Michelangelo’s David. Later have some fun visiting San Lorenzo open air market with display of traditional Florentine products.

Day-6. FLORENCE-SIENA-BARCELONA: Morning excursion to Sienna one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Europe. During the walking tour see, its main sites: Terzo di Camallia, Terzo di Citta, the Fortezza, Duomo, Piazza Campo the site of famous Palio horse race, and the Cathedral covered with white and green marble, with great art work of Michelangelo. Then through the Tuscan Hills toward Fiumicino airport and board your late flight to Barcelona. Upon arrival transfer to the city. En route stop for group picture in front of Sagrada Familia, the symbol of Barcelona before check in at your beach hotel on Barceloneta, the main seaside avenue of the city. Dinner in hotel.

Day-7. BARCELONA: Walk to la Buqueria, famous food market, established over 400 years ago, and place where farmers bring daily fresh products to the city. Try some great Catalan dishes prepared in front of you and do not miss to try famous Jambon. Then to Bari Gothic for guided tour of the main sites of the city to see: Temple of Augustus, Roman Walls, Palau Episcopal, Royal Palace, and Cathedral. Later explore area of Eixample artistic area with numerous art galleries.

Day-8. BARCELONA: Follow your tour director on walking tour to see Casa Mila, unique structure created by Catalan genius Antonio Gaudi. Then through Plaza Catalunya, for walking tour along La Rambla, the main artery of the city (where your hotel is located) with numerous shops and up to the the port to see Lookout, a 50 meter column supporting the Columbus statue of the discoverer of America. Then to Maremagnum, at the beach of Barceloneta, Some free time in the afternoon for hunt on the souvenirs before Mariden farewell tapas dinner at Tablao de Carmen, with the spectacular, and the best Flamenco show in Spain.

Day-9. DEPARTURE: Morning transfer to the airport for your return flight to Canada.
