Great program for the people who love people. Beside the glory of Golden Museum in Lima, Machu Pichu, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, and amazing Fortress of Ollaytaymbo, you will spend most of the time with the Peruvian
people. Visit their villages, eat a lunch prepared by the locals, be involved in community work (if you like), built your own sandwich at the original Sangucheria, visit the Huiloc Comunity to see how they live, what they cook and their artisan skills. At the end a climb to Machu Pichu for a "million dollar view"

Day-1. FLIGHT TO LIMA: Morning flight from most of the Canadian cities with late arrival Lima, and transfer to your Miraflores hotel in the centre of Lima, for late snack and overnight.

Day-2. LIMA: After big open buffet breakfast, join your local guide on tour of Peruvian Capital. Visit the Main Square wher Lima was founded as the "City of the Kings" in 1535. See the Presidential Palace, the Archbishop Palace, and Lima Cathedral. Continue to Aliaga House built by the order of Francisco Pizzaro the founder of Lima. In the afternoon visit Larco Museum with the most complete pre-Hispanic collection of gold and silver articrafts. Dinner in original Peruvian restaurant.

Day-3. LIMA-CUSCO: Morning transfer to the airport for you flight to Cusco. Upon arrival get the local drink which will help you to aclimatize to the hight of the altitude of 3.800 meter, and board the Motor coach for ride to Pisac. En route stop in Awanachanca Museum and working staion to see the use of trtaditional methods and ancestral weaving techniques of camelid wool, practised by the farming comunities in this area. Then to Pisac the most colorfull market in South America filled with numerous stands wher the locals sell their produsct made in surrounding Inca villages. here you will find alpaca textiles, oriiginal Inca musical instruments, carvings, paintings and replicas of Inca pieces. After lunch break (create your own sandwich) visit Inkariy Museum with display of the pre-Hispanic period. Then to your hotel and a big buffet dinner featuring the original Inca dishes.

Day-4. SACRED VALLEY: Travel along the valley to visit the archeological vestiges of Maras and Moray. These unusual vestiges are composed of mysterious circular teraces the former Inca research center. Then to maras the impressive salt mine complex. Incas traded salt with the other comunities and had a full control of this product. Then visit the local homes where you will leran the secrets of Andean traditional cooking, following a great meal prepared in front of you. Later travel to Ollaytaytambo, one of the greatest samples of Inca urban planning. This way of stone house build system is used still in rural area of Andean Mountains. Then  follow your tour director on great tour (not available for the regular toursits) to the house of Huiloc people for the Kusi Runa performance. You will pareticipate in Chakra session. You will be dressed in typical clohes of Huiloc and using the local tools, you will help the locals in improving of their housing stabdards. Males will do farming and females will help with cooking of the local dishes. At the end sit with the locals and listen their music, singing and dancing with them.  Late return to your hotel. In the evening pack you backpack for next day trip to Machu Pichu (weight restriction to 5 kg.)

Day-5. MACHU PICHU - the New Wonder of the World: Early morning transfer to the train stationand board the machu Pichu train to Aguas Callientes. Upon arrival, board the small mini bus for 30 minutes uphill ride to the ruins of Machu Pichu, the lost city of Incas. Enjoy one of the most spectacular views in the world looking down to the remain of this great ciy built around mid 15th century and unknown to the rest of the world until 1911, when it was discovere by the American explorer Hiram Bingham. Later have some free time wandering through the Citadel and the houses looking to the Urubamba River Valley over 350 meter bellow you. Late return to Aguas Callientes for some free timne for excellent shopping of the traditional Inca souvenirs, beforer train ride to Cusco and dinner and accommodation at your centrally located hotel, next to Plaza de Armas.

Day-6. CUSCO-THE EMPIRE OF INCAS: Travel to nearby Sacsayhuaman, one of the most emblematic Inca constructions, listed as UNESCO cultural site built in 15th century. It is a huge fortress built by massive blocks of stone transported from miles away with (still today) unknown technique. Once in a life time to see a block of stone with 8-12 corners (a block usually have just 4 corners). Correct? Then to Cusco city for tour of the main sites around Plaza de Armas. Inside visit of the Cathedral built between 1540 and 1640, and then visit Coricancha know as the Temple of the Sun, used as the base for Spanish Santo Domingo Convent. Then have some fun exploring San Pedro Market, whre you can try some great pastries, fresh squized juice, local bread (bigger then your head), and numerous souvenirs. In the evening mariden farewell dinner with Inca folklore and music.

Day-7. CUSCO-LIMA-DEPARTURE FLIGHT: After breakfas, some free time in Cusco before your early afternoon flight to Lima and your evening and overnight  flight to Canada.
