Day-2. PRAGUE: Arrive Prague and transfer to the city. After check in at your centrally located hotel, in walking distance to the main sites, and refreshment break, join your tour director on walking tour of the Old Prague, pedestrian zone. Beside Vienna, Prague was for over 300 years the main centre of music and place where most of the European composers lived and worked for many years and where they composed some famous music pieces. Mozart finished Don Giovani, Marriage of Figaro was performed in Prague before in Vienna, Beethoven worked there for two years, Vivaldi, Franc Liszt, Richard Wagner, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Smetana, Dworak and many others. During the walking tour see: the Powder Tower, Golden Lane, Jindriska, and Astronomical Clock. Then dinner in original Bohemian eatery.
Day-3. PRAGUE & CONCERT: Choir will perform in Cathedral of St. Vit or in Klementinum or in atrium of Villa Bertramka. Later explore Hradcani, also known as the “Royal Town” which was for over 400 years the site of Bohemian Kings. See the Royal Castle, and then to Cathedral of St. Vit, probable place of the concert for choir. Later visit Lesser Town, the stronghold of the Merchants of Bohemia. Then great walk along Charles Bridge, the main symbol of the city decorated with the statues of the saints.In the afternoon visit Klementinum, the huge complex of buildings in Old Prague founded in 1232, with three amazing sites. The Mirror Chapel which houses 18th century organs, one played by Mozart during his stay in Prague, the Baroque Library and the Astronomical Tower.
Day-4. HLUBOKA CASTLE-CESKY KUMLOV: Ride through Central Bohemia, the cradle of Czech history. Stop in Hluboka to visit the amazing Hluboka Castle considered the most beautiful fairy tale looking castle in the world, (see the page four) with rooms completely covered in cherry woodwork. Then continue to Cesky Kumlov, a UNESCO Heritage City surrounded with three rivers. Evening concert on the main square
Day-5. CESKY KUMLOV-SALZBURG: Morning departure Cesky Kumlov for ride through Southern Bohemia and Austrian countryside to Salzburg. Afternoon walking tour of the birth place of Mozart and see the main sites where the movie "the Sound of Music" was filmed.
Day-6. SALZBURG - VIENNA: Morning concert in Cathedral of Salzburg or in Mirabell Garden (weather permitting). After lunch break continue to Vienna, the former capital of Habsburg Monarchy and world capital of classic music. Panoramic tour along the Ring, too see the main sites of the city such as: Hofburg, Town Hall, Votava Church, Museum Quarter, Urania, Danube Canal, and Opera. Then to your centrally located hotel, next to pedestrian zone. In the evening walking tour along Graben and up to St. Stephens Cathedral.
Day-7.VIENNA & CONCERT:Choir will have morning performance in St. Stephens Cathedral. Later visit Haus der Musik, an interactive museum of sound, which provide the best learning experience of approach to music on scientific level. Later visit the floor which is dedicated to Sonosphere where you will learn (it is a guided tour led by the professional music clinician), about the creation of sound and record your own composition on CD with Evolution machine.End the tour of visit to vitro-stage where you can compose the personal opera using your own body language.
Day-8. VIENNA & CONCERT: Visit Schoenbrunn, the most beautiful and the most luxurious royal palace in Europe with over 400 rooms, huge parks, fountains and gardens, also known as the European get together for classic music fans, and place where young Mozart gave his first music concert at the age of six. Choir will have open air concert in Schoenbrunn. Some free time in the afternoon, before baroque music concert in Grand Hall, the most famous music venue in Austria.
