Day-1. DEPARTURE CITY - RIO: Flight to Rio.
Day-2: RIO DE JANEIRO: Arrive into Rio around 11 am. and transfer to hotel located just a block from Copacabana /Ipanema Beach. Check in, and after your refreshment break join your tour director for a walking tour along Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana.
Day-3. RIO TOUR & SUGAR LOAF: Visit: the Memorial to the Dead, the Modern Art Museum, Glória Church, Quinze de Novembro Square, Paço Imperial, Candelária Church, Rio's Cathedral, and the Sambódromo, the 'holy ground' of Brasilian samba. Later take the cable car to to Sugar Loaf -Rio's most famous landmark with amazing view of the city.
Day-4. RIO & CORCOVADO & TIJUCA: Drive to Corcovado, and board cog train which will takes us on journey through
Tijuca, the world's largest urban forest to visit Christ the Redeemer, the symbol of Rio, with one of the most astonishing views in the world.
Day-5. PETROPOLIS: Travel to Brasilian countrYside to visit the Imperial city of Petropolis. Located just 60 kilometers away from Rio and settled high in the mountains this former imperial town was established in 1910 by Brazilian Emperor Peter II. as his summer retreat. Visit some of the main sights like Summer Palace which serve today as the Imperial Museum, Cathedral and Crystal Palace.
Day-6. RIO DE JANEIRO - TROPICAL ISLANDS: A full day tour of the Islands. Drive by A/C vehicle to the fishing village of Itacuruca and board a schooner for a delightful cruise among the many islands of Sepetiba Bay. During stops at the islands you will have an opportunity to swim and to taste a variety of tropical fruits. Late return to Rio.
Day-7. GUANABARA BAY EXCURSION: Excursion to Guanabara Bay the largest bay in the world. Sail along the Governor's Island, Fundao, and Snakes Island. From there you will see Rio and the neighborhoods of Botafogo, Urca, Flamengo, Fort Sao Joao, and Santa Cruz Fortress
Day-8. RIO - IGUASSU FALLS: Morning transfer to the airport for flight to Foz de Iguassu. Upon arrival, transfer to your centrally located hotel. Then join your tour director on walking tour of Iguassu Falls. In just a few decades, the town of Iguassu Falls has evolved from a small town into an important commercial center of over 300.000 inhabitants with many and tourist attractions.
Day-9. IGUASSU FALLS -DEPARTURE: Short ride to the Iguassu National Park. First visit the Brazilian side following the trail to the base of the biggest waterfall the famous Devil´s Throat. Then cross the border to visit the falls from Argentinean side, which count larger portion of Iguazu Falls than the Brazil side. Later return to Brazilian side for transfer to the airport for your return flight to Sao Paolo and then continue with flight to Canada.
