Day-1. DEPARTURE CITY - NEW ORLEANS: Flight to New Orleans. Afternoon arrival and transfer to your centrally located hotel just a few blocks from French Quarter. After check in and refreshment break, join your tour director on walking tour of French Quarter. Later visit the market to taste great Cajun food.
Day-2. NEW ORLEANS: Board the hop on - hop of bus for guided tour of the city. This system will allow you to leave your bus at any of 12 stops, explore the area and board another one. See or visit the main sites such as: St. Louis Cathedral, Jackson Square, Aquarium of America (entrance fee), New Orleans Museum of Art, the Cabildo, Garden District, Lafayette Cemetery and the Canal. In the evening an optional Broadway show at Mahalia Jackson Theatre for Performing Art.
Day-3. NEW ORLEANS: Another day to explore this great city. Continue with the same bus system to see and visit the other attraction like: Mardi Gras, the best place for fun and learning, NO Stadium, French Market, Dutch Alley with traditional street performers, Voodoo Museum and Audubon Zoo (entrance fee). In the afternoon board Nachez steam liner for a great boat ride along the Bay with spectacular view over the city.
Day-4. ART IN NEW ORLEANS: Tour of Mid City Theatre and then attend a drama workshop at this great venue established already in 1916 as the New Orleans Chapter of the Drama League of America. Free afternoon at Bourbon Street. In the evening an optional visit to one of numerous jazz clubs with live performance.
Day-5. LOUISIANA SWAMPS: Board the Motor coach, cross the Mississippi River and embark on great boat trip through the swamps and bayous of New Orleans countryside. During the guided tour observe the nesting grounds of alligators, egrets, raccoons, nutria and others. See the feeding of the alligators performs by the marine biologist, learn about the behaviour and about the past of the swamp people. Late afternoon return to New Orleans.
Day-6. NEW ORLEANS - DEPARTURE: Free time for hunt on souvenirs at Mardi Grass before transfer to the airport for your return flight.
