This tour is designed for history and Social Studies. It follow the path of the WW II. From Berlin, with traces of Berlin Wall and Sacshenhausen concentration camp to Dresden, Prague with terezin Camp, Royal Krakow with notorious Auswitz and the tour in Munich visiting Dachau Camp and Neuswanstein Castle
Day-1. DEPARTURE CITY BERLIN: Late afternoon /overnight flight to Germany.
Day-2. BERLIN: Arrival Berlin and start with guided for tour. See / visit: Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Town Hall, Reichstag, Neue Wache, Konzerthaus, Berliner Dom, Kudam, Nikoleikirche, St. Hedwig’s Cathedral and Marienkirche, Then to your centrally located hotel next to Ku-Dam.
Day-3. BERLIN: Follow the route of the infamous Berlin Wall. Visit the Holocaust Memorial, where Hitler's bunker was located and the surviving traces of the Berlin Wall, including the Wall Memorial and the Wall Documentation Center. End the tour with visit to Check Point Charley, famous police custom post before we visit the Reichstag’s glass dome.
Day-4. DRESDEN - PRAGUE: Travel to Dresden, "the Baroque capital of Germany". known as "Florence of the Elbe". Visit Frauenkirche, probably the best sample of European baroque architecture, and the Semper Opera House, Then continue to Prague and your centrally located hotel for overnight for overnight. Dinner in original Czech eatery.
Day-5. PRAGUE-NIGHT TRAIN: Guided tour of Czech capital to see / visit the main sites such as: Prague Castle, Hradcani Pedestrian Zone, the Golden Lane, Loretta, Jindriska Tower, and Klementium. Then visit Lesser Town before we cross famous Charles Bridge decorated with statues of the famous Czech kings. Later visit Jewish Quarter with Spanish Synagogue, Old Jewish Cemetery, Old Tower Bridge, and Wenceslaw Square. In the evening board the night sleeper train to Krakow.
Day-6. AUSWITZ-KRAKOW Upon arrival, board the motor coach for a short ride to nearby Auschwitz, the infamous Nazi concentration camp where more than 100 000 prisoners died. Then continue to Wadowica the birth place of late Pope John Paul II. Late afternoon return to Krakow and your hotel next to the Old Town.
Day-7. KRAKOW: Guided tour of the historical capital of the Polish kings for more than 400 years. See Rynek Glowny (the Market Square), Old Town, Kazimierz, the Jewish Quarter (actually a town inside the town), Church of St. Mary, and Wawel Castle in the centre of Krakow.
Day-8. KRAKOW-MUNICH: Transfer to Munich. Upon arrival, guided tour of Bavarian capital: See the main sites like Karls Tor, Odeons Platz, Marienkirche, Old Peter, and Viktuel market, the best place to explore bavarian food.
Day-9. DACHAU & NEUSWANSTEIN: Travel to nearby Dachau, place of one of the worst concentration camps established by Nazi regime, where more then 45.000 prisoners died mostly from starvation and in gas chambers. Then continue to Bavarian Alps to visit the town of Fuesen, and then climb to amazing Neuswanstein Castle for a guided tour of the most beautiful medieval castle in the world.Late return to Munich.
